There is something magical about late-night coding sessions with the right setup. Over the past few months I have been dialing in my ultimate vibe coding environment from the hardware stack to the ambient lighting.

The Hardware

At the heart of the build sits a custom PC running an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X paired with 64GB of DDR5. For display I am running a 49-inch ultrawide flanked by two vertical 27-inch monitors. Excessive? Maybe. But when you are juggling a code editor, terminal, browser, and documentation screen real estate is everything.

The Vibe Stack

Govee light bars synced to screen content, a mechanical keyboard with custom keycaps that glow in the dark, and a Spotify playlist heavy on synthwave and lo-fi beats.

The Software

VS Code with a custom Synthwave 84 theme (naturally), Warp terminal, and Claude Code for AI-assisted development. The workflow is buttery smooth.
